2012 FCCA Comp Plan Committee - Final Report
The report has been completed and forwarded to King County. Additional comments may be submitted directly to the county.
Welcome to the Fall City Subarea Review website
The King County Comprehensive Plan is the guiding policy document for all land use and development regulations in unincorporated King County, and for regional services throughout the County including transit, sewers, parks, trails and open space. Every fourth year, there is a complete review of the plan. In this review, broader policy issues can be addressed and the plan amended accordingly.
Fall City and some other communities in the County are granted special consideration in the form of "Subarea Plans" for inclusion in the overall Comp Plan to address conditions unique to their communities. Fall City is one of three unincorporated communities which are designated as "rural towns".
The Fall City Community Association has formed a steering committee to solicit and document public discussion to identify issues we want addressed in the 2012 update to the Comp Plan. It's important that all stakeholders in the community have the opportunity to be heard, and it's the intent of the Subarea Plan Steering Committee that this be accomplished efficiently and equitably.
